    Abundant Learning Parent Workshop for Hurricane Sandy Relief

    In the past few days, Hurricane Sandy has directly impacted the lives of countless in New York City and all along the North Atlantic. In the midst of the the aftermath, Abundant Learning is proud to be OPEN for parents, children and families and offer a very special program for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

    Playdate Politics and Peer Smarts is a special parent workshop in NYC to take place on Saturday, November 10 at 10 a.m. In collaboration with Alice Kaltman, founder of Family Matters NY. 

    This program will guide you in helping your children develop compassionate social skills and foster friendly relationships with their peers. Parents will also get the opportunity to discuss and negotiate different parentign styles and expectations. 

    Abundant Learning parents and families will also discuss sharing, respectful play, food choices and many more issues that affect the lives of parents and children. By the end of the program, Alice Kaltman will help parents identify common issues that parents encounter when children hit the social circuit, as well as how they can affect their social development in a positive way. 

    Cost: $25 dollars per participant, $40 for couples
