Bike Tours in NYC: A Winery Tour with Living Adventure

Warm weather and the great outdoors offer the chance to enjoy a mini-vacation this season with one of Living Adventure Tours' bike tours in NYC.

Living Adventure Tours is now featuring a great new tour on Saturday, August 18th. The Bike Tour to Winery Tour will take place just outside New York City, along the Delaware River. This gentle fusion features all the great experiences of both a bike tour and a winery tour all in one!

The adventure starts with a bike path along the Delaware River for an approximate 15 mile or 2-hour trip. The group will then ride over several classic country bridges, as you enjoy the scenery along canals, rivers, and train paths, finally ending at a beautiful Pennsylania winery, complete with grape vineyards.

At the winery, you will have the chance to do some tasting and peruse the grounds. A sunshade tent will be set up with picnic blankets for a nice restful lunch among the vineyard. Highlights from the trip include biking on an old canal path and experiencing great-tasting summery wines! Cost: $120 per person with transportation. Difficulty: 3 on a 1-6 scale. Distance: Biking 15 miles on flat surface for a full-day event. Transportation: Shuttle service is provided from NY for you and your bike (rentals available), guided bike tour, bicycle support vehicle, bike check, wine sampling, blankets and sunshade for picnic.  What Bike Should I Bring?A hybrid is the best choice. A mountain bike, cyclocross, urban, or comfort bike will be fine as well. If you need a bike or yours is just out of shape, we have high end hybrid rentals available for $35.  What else should I bring?Your bike (unless renting), water, camera, sun tan lotion, snacks, camera, bug spray, sunglasses. Attendees must be 21 or older to attend this event. To reserve your spot, visit Living Adventure Tours.
