Bluesman Kenny Wayne Shepherd in Concert at City Winery

Featuring some of the most popular musicians, City Winery wine bar is once again hosting a giant in the music industry. From Monday, May 21 through Wednesday, May 23, City Winery is set to welcome The Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band.

A master in guitar and modern blues, Kenny Wayne Shepherd has mesmerized crowds with his blues-meets-rock n’ roll performances. The Louisiana native has put his stamp on the sounds of modern blues while selling millions of albums and frequently gracing the Top 10 charts.

As Guitar World’s pick of best blues guitarist, behind legends B.B. King and Eric Clapton, Shepherd has made a name for himself with some of the best in his industry. The young blues artist, in his 30s, has preformed with New Orleans legend Bryan Lee and captured the attention of another famous blues guitarist, the late Stevie Ray Vaughan, when he was only seven years old.
