Established in early 2003, the Brooklyn Fencing Center has rapidly grown into one of New York’s most premiere fencing centers. Upon its founding, it was the only competitive fencing club in Brooklyn. It is now among the top four fencing centers in New York. Determined to provide the excitement and felicity of fencing to a wider and previously untapped audience, Brooklyn Fencing Center has cultivated a rich and engaging program which grants students a unique opportunity to garner values and elevating skills which can be applied throughout their lives.

Fencing is a unique sport with a rich history and offers various aspects that anyone can enjoy. The sport requires stringent mental and physical focus in a way that is usually non-existent in other sports, applying a fusion of strategy and weapon dexterity. Fencing underscores the power of the individual, as fencers must stand on their own merits and skills, facing an opponent one-on-one.
