About Elizabeth Singer, MFA, LP

Bring me the inner bully who won't let up, the wilted self who can't do one more thing or the sad face that cannot see the sun.  Rooting out depression in all its disguises is a specialty of mine.  This is illness not character defect.  Reach out before it gets too bad.

Who's in charge?  You or your fear?  Anxiety drains all the pleasure out of life and puts up walls around what you can and can't do.  Anxiety is bad for your general health and slowly eats away at your life.  We are complicated beings.  We have a lot of feelings, some of which make no sense at all.  Air it all out, you'll feel better.

I follow the work of Sue Parker Hall who practices empathic anger management.  That is, I believe that anger and rage have meanings, and that once that story is told, the person can make a better choice.
