Sutra Lounge is known for its undeniable vibe, laid back yet sophisticated decor, and central East Village location on 1st Street and 1st Avenue.

Sutra appeals to all walks of life and caters to events large and small, featuring two floors, two bars, and two DJ booths. Sutra accommodates groups sizes of 10 to 250 people, while maintaining the intimate environment it is renowned for. 

We provide full service packages, which include catering from a range of cuisines, open bar deals, and full bottle service. Private rooms are available and include a red velvet elliptical room. Additionally, the Main Room and an Underground Chakra Lounge, which is reached by an ornate mirrored mosaic stairwell, are always available.

Sutra's unique esthetic is an ideal venue for a variety of events including birthday parties, promoted and private celebrations, corporate, as well as television, film and fashion location shoots.
