After you've indulged in the merriment and cheer of spending the holidays with family and friends, a great way to start your year off right is to stop by the Broadway Comedy Club for an extra dose of laughter and entertainment for a special stand up comedy show.
The Broadway Comedy Club will be hosting its National Headliner Showcase on Saturday, January 5 with two performances at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Special stand up comedians for the night to be featured in this showcase include Gregg Rogell, Ross Bennett, Steve Marshall and Jermaine Fowler.
Residing in New York City, Gregg Rogell is a well-known stand up comedian who has been featured on the Tonight Show, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and The Nanny. His hilarious jokes draw upon his own experiences and shedding a little humor on his ethnoreligious heritage.
For those who have never been introduced to Ross Bennett, known for being featured on Friars Roasts, offer clean and clever entertainment is just for the grown folks! Originally from Western New York State, Ross Bennett's humor can be defined as "New York Country," poking fun at busy NYC streets, crazy New Yorkers and much more for even those who think no comedian could ever make them laugh.
Comedian Steve Marshall has been featured on the Food Network and has performed at comedy clubs around the country. His clean cut sense of comedy is also quite entertaining and refreshing as he wows the audience with a Jewish sense of humor and edgy jokes for all.
You may have seen stand up comedian, Jermaine Fowler on the oldie but goodie television show, "In Living Color." After moving to NYC at the age of 20, with nothing more than a suitcase and big dreams, Fowler quickly blossomed as a performer not long after being acknowledged in the New York Post's 50 Funniest Jokes alongside popular comedians, David Letterman and Jay Leno.
Fowler has also performed in festivals across the country and is featured in a number of commercials. The Broadway Comedy Club is excited to host another great performance on its stage where many of today's celebrity comedians first gained public attention. So bring a couple friends to the show, and sit back while these lively comedians take the stage. For more information, visit the Broadway Comedy Club.
