Cheer on Ireland in The Euro Cup at The Irish American Pub

When it comes to important sports competitions, the UEFA European Football Championship (Euro Cup) is ranked second only to the World Cup. While the actual tournament this year will be taking place in Poland and the Ukraine, New Yorkers can catch all the action at The Irish American pub.

The matches run from June 8 to July 1 and diners can watch all the games on the pub's big screen televisions. Throughout the games the pub will offer drink specials including Carlsberg draught, the official sponsor of this championship, along with cocktail specials for women.

The first major event at the pub will take place on Wednesday, June 13, when Germany takes on the Netherlands at 2:45 p.m. During the tournament the pub will be hosting a Radaberger promotion consisting of discounted Radaberger from 2 to 5 p.m., along with a free glass to take home! In honor of The Irish American's namesake, the pub will be supporting Ireland and America on their quest to Euro Cup 2012 success. Ireland is taking on Croatia for Match 6 on Sunday, June 10 at 8:45 p.m. The team will come back for Match 14 on Thursday, June 14 at 6 p.m. against Spain. Hopefully sealing their place in the quarterfinals, Ireland is taking on Italy for Match 22 on Monday, June 18 at 8:45 p.m. While the pub’s heart lies with Ireland, they are airing each and every game in the Euro Cup lineup.
