Chess Training for NYC Kids with World Champion Irina Kush

Tournaments can be a lot of fun for kids, but we often forget that practice is an integral part of the process! Chess training with U.S. Women's World Chess Champion Irina Kush is an excellent way to build the skills required to become a chess champion.
NYChessKids would like to invite you for a special workshop taught by International Chess Master Irina Kush on July 14th. It will be an insightful and fun learning session for the kids.
NYChessKids is one of the best places for learning the fundamentals of chess playing. Chess training for kids in NYC is an intellectually challenging experience, and this workshop will help them better prepare in the new NYChessKids Learning Center.
Available times: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (for chess players with a rating over 800)1:00 – 4:00 p.m. (for girls only) The first workshop at NYChessKids will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for kids with a rating over 800. The second workshop will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for girls only. After each lesson, there will be a 15-minute break for the kids to relax, get on the computers in the learning center, or enjoy some board games or puzzles. Lunch will also be provided for all children. A limited number of applicants are accepted and registration will be on a first come, first serve basis.
