The "New Recruits" class is designed to bring together beginners of all ages, and the "Forty Is The New Twenty" class takes on students specifically from ages 40 and up. Students can sign up for whichever boot camp class they feel most comfortable participating in.
These boot camp classes in New York City are open to both men and women, encouraging all students along their journey to lose weight, build strength, and gain tone without bulking up. - Run up the stairs, then walk back down. Repeat 3-5 times. Walking down each time instead of running continuously allows you to run a faster pace on the uphill, and forces you to develop deceleration and control.
- Stand on one foot and balance as long as possible, then repeat on the other foot. If that doesn't feel like a balance challenge, hold your balance on one foot first, then close your eyes and try to hold the pose, making sure to practice both sides.
