Fitness Club Pedal NYC Supports Pediatric Cancer Research

Charting a course to a healthy and fit life can be difficult and complicated, but the expert personal trainers at Pedal NYC help you get one step closer to your destination every day. During your quest to overall wellness, pay the favor back with Pedal NYC’s charity, Running through Walls. Guests will notice the emblem for this year-round charity on the back of the water bottles sold at the fitness club. One hundred percent of the profits from water bottle sales goes towards supporting Running through Walls.

A non-profit charity, Running through Walls raises money for pediatric cancer research, while working to promote wellness for children, adolescents, and adults who are currently fighting cancer or are in recovery.

Aligning with the beliefs of their fitness club, Pedal NYC is eager to aid in the future development of a wellness program for pediatric cancer patients. The charity was founded by a cancer survivor, her sister, her brother, and her parents. It was Tara Wallace's own battle with pediatric cancer that prompted her, together with her family, to found Running Through Walls.

One of the best things patients can do for themselves is to stay motivated and healthy post-treatment. Running through Walls works with top programs around the country, including LIVESTRONG Survivorship Center of Excellence and The Living Well After Cancer Program at the Abramson Cancer Center. Pediatric cancer survivors are the very essence of what it means to have the will to live. Working with nationally recognized hospitals to improve their quality of life, Running through Walls is honored to support new clinical research.

Fitness club Pedal NYC will be working with Running through Walls to organize fundraising events this summer. They have learned first-hand the importance and obstacles in rebuilding your strength after a serious illness.
