Halevy Life Offering Storm Relief to Sandy Sufferers
Hurricane Sandy swept through New York City, leaving homes in her path destroyed and millions of people without power and water.
Halevy Life, along with other gyms and fitness clubs across New York City, opened their doors to those affected, offering full facilities to the victims of the hurricane, such as free showers, phone charges and bottled water. Being the first gym to offer Hurricane Sandy relief to fellow New Yorkers, Halevy Life put those in need first, staying closed for business, but open to the public to share their resources.

"Gyms should be places where health is nurtured not just in sets and reps, but in dispersement of health to the community on an ongoing basis -- and especially in times of crisis," said Jeff Halevy, Halevy Life Owner.
Halevy Life will also be donating 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their Semi Private (SP) New Client Starter Packs (MSRP $89) for the entire month of November to assist those in need through the devastation that was caused by Hurricane Sandy. This will get you six SP personal training sessions to use over one month, and all profits from the sale price will be donated to a variety of local and national nonprofits providing Sandy disaster relief.
Halevy Life Owner and Public Health Activist, Jeff Halevy, who decided to donate 100% of proceeds to assist those affected by the disastrous storm, expects to reach at least $5000 by the end of the month.
