Hill Country Chicken To Host Cancer Fundraiser On Monday

Start your week by supporting a good cause. On Monday (8/20), Hill Country Chicken, 1123 Broadway at 25th Street, will be hosting a fundraiser for Alex’s Lemonade Stand. All proceeds will be donated to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Marc Glosserman, owner of Hill Country Chicken, seeks to gain awareness for this very important cause. He invites everyone in NoMad to join the fight, have some lemonade, and support this fantastic organization. The Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation began when a little girl, afflicted with cancer before her first birthday, started to seek funds. The movement has grown to raise $55 million dollars to date.  Stop by if you are in the area, to help the foundation continue this important work.  Alex has shown that one person can inspire a large movement and enact positive change.
