Kids Learn to EXCEL with University Settlement Programs

Personal achievement requires hard work and determination and for some people, they need an extra push to do their very best. Take the next step by enrolling in EXCEL programs at University Settlement-Houston Street Center.  Appealing to teens and young adults EXCEL programs create a unique atmosphere for expression, communication and engaging activities like swimming. EXCEL Swim and Expression is designed to meet the needs of participants on a variety of levels, especially for teens and young adults with special needs..

 EXCEL Swim and EXCEL Expression begin on Saturday, May 5.  EXCEL Swim is basic swim skills, 4pm to 5pm on Saturday afternoons.  EXCEL Expression is from 2pm to 3:30pm, also on Saturdays, a class on communication for life skills, including interactive activities, and role-playing exercises designed to enhance communication and social skills in the workplace and other real-life settings. This eight week session will run from May 5th to June 30th at 2 p.m.  The Swim and Expression package is $120.00 for 8 weeks.
