NYC Salon Dramatics Snags Over 30 Platinum Pias Nominations

Dramatics hair salon has made a dramatic impression on the beauty industry in New York City.  With nine locations throughout NYC, Dramatics has been recognized as one of the “best” salons, servicing (and formerly employing) big named celebrities. This accomplished salon is making headlines once again, earning several nominations for The Oscars equivalent in beauty awards- the Platinum Pias.

The Platinum Pias were launched three years ago and honored some of the most talented hands and expertise of the best in the beauty business from stylists from the hit show Royal Pains, to Manhattan Kids Guide. Over a course of months, Pias nominees partake in competitions to out shine the rest, ultimately earning a Pia.

This year, Dramatics is sweeping the nomination floor with approximately 30 of its members in the running for Pias awards. Categories range from Best Entrepreneur Award, Top Salon Stylist Award and Manager of the Year Award, to a Wellness Award, Best New Publication (of beauty publications) and Most Popular Publication. Nine individual stylists from Dramatics have been nominated for the Star Stylist Pia and the Stylist of the Year Pia awards. Recently, Dramatics recognized their nominees with a fabulous event, welcoming in news cameras and media attention.
