Physique: Personal Training Screening Assessment
It starts off with an idea. You say to yourself, “I want to physically look and feel my best.” So, what happens next?
Ideally you would plan out a strict diet, followed by multiple trips a week to the gym, but for many people this plan tends to fail. A generic workout plan and diet does not work for everyone because your body is not comparable to anyone else but yourself. If you truly want to get into shape, you need a program that works for you and only you.
Exercise and nutritional center, Physique takes into consideration your current physical standings in order to personally move you in the right direction.
Before you even begin your workout, the center will put you through an Active Movement Assessment to determine your starting point. As you start off your training, the Movement Sequence Process and Lifestyle Coaching takes into account all of your assessment findings.
Each program at Physique is designed around the individualized movement screening process, consisting of a head-to-toe fitness assessment and evaluation. The center will properly assess your strengths and weaknesses in multiple areas including posture, movement, strength, flexibility and athleticism. This process may seem extensive, but it is necessary in order to find any areas of imbalance that need to be corrected before starting your fitness program.
This type of assessment tends to be overlooked by the average trainer, but for the trainers at Physique it is important to know two things: Is each movement helping you reach your highest goal, and is your exercise routine helping or hurting your progress?
It is not always necessary to move intensely from one exercise to the next, since this can cause some of your major muscles to shut off due to imbalances and posture concerns. This is why movement sequencing is a process these personal trainers live by. After a proper assessment, your trainer would be well aware of any issues as the movement sequencing process works to neurologically activate shut down areas while releasing the over active areas.
There is a systematic process that needs to be followed when looking to achieve fitness goals. The personal trainers and programs available at Physique work at the necessary pace to make sure you safely and effectively reach your potential.
