PlayTogether Preschool Parents Talk About Their Experiences

When it comes to learning new skills and dreaming up creative ideas, children often learn most effectively through play. At PlayTogether NYC, our play-based curriculum allows for children to learn and grow while being able to play with others in a comfortable environment in our kids classes and daily group sessions. I recently got a chance to spend the morning with my son at his preschool, PlayTogether NYC. One of the reasons my husband and I chose PlayTogether NYC as an alternative preschool for our son was because of the number of teachers who are available in the classroom. The small classroom setting was a great place for children to learn and play while practicing effective social skills activities and participating in art, music and free play.

Director Nyla Kamlet works seamlessly along with the other teachers. All the teacher seemed to communicate without words. In turn, they could predict what kids would like to be in the group activity.

Our experience in PlayTogether NYC has been nothing but positive for our son. It’s his home away from home. He comes home talking about shapes, the seasons, and the weather. He even has started to express his feels. He will say, “I’m excited!”

Although my son has a speech delay, my husband and I have noticed such an improvement in his language and communication skills since he started PlayTogether NYC. We love PlayTogether NYC!
