Start Your Kid's Morning Right With Interactive Chess Games

While many adults struggle to open their eyes as the light sneaks in through the window and try to command their legs to get them out of bed, children are usually up and ready to start the day. Sure, there may be mornings when you need to wrestle them out of bed after hours of staying up playing video games, but, for the most part, kids are filled with a world of energy waiting to be expressed at every moment.

Instead of sitting your child in front of the television watching cartoons in the morning – which does little to stimulate their minds – why not give those early birds something to look forward to?

Get their mind juices flowing as soon as they wake with NYChessKids' new Online Interactive Program, which gives children the opportunity to solve chess puzzles every morning before they go to school. Chess puzzles are a great way to challenge your mind and are fun at the same time!

Parents are always looking for the best afterschool programs to help children stay on top of their game at all times, but now they can start the creative processes right away. Children will not only be enhancing their minds, but they will be learning the importance of discipline, concentration and planning. These of lifelong skills for children to use all day throughout school.

The NYChessKids Online Interactive Program begins January 9 and runs through March 16. Kids can participate every Monday through Friday from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m. Register before December 20 for a discounted rate.

Save the bagels for lunch and try chess for breakfast!
