Sutra Lounge Celebrates 3 Year Anniversary of Tony Touch

In the city that never sleeps, one of New York’s best and longest running old school hip-hop parties is celebrating its three year anniversary at Sutra Lounge this month with an all star line up.

The Sutra Lounge will be hosting a variety of events with mixtape maestro DJ Tony Touch, welcoming well known DJs and music lovers on Toca Tuesdays (10/11).

DJ Premier, who is best known for being the DJ and Producer of Gangstarr, and producing tracks for 50 Cent, Snoop Dog, Notorious B.I.G, Kanye West and Jay-Z, will be at the Sutra Lounge tonight, Tuesday, October 11.

On Tuesday, October 18, internationally renowned DJ and producer, DJ Stretch Armstrong, will be at the lounge. DJ Stretch Armstrong is famous for his radio show with Robert “Bobbito” Garcia at Columbia University’s WKCR station.

Sutra Lounge is known for its undeniable vibe and sophisticated décor, making it a great place to kick back in central East Village.

As Sutra continues to appeal to all walks of life, catering to events large and small, the lounge opens its doors to an array of talent, providing that it is a DJ “hot spot.”

Other DJ oriented events at the lounge will take place on October 25th with DJ Neil Armstrong.

All are welcome to move to the beat as the featured DJ’s spin hip-hop, funk, reggae, house, and Latin rhythms.

Sutra accommodates group sizes of 10 to 250 people, while maintaining the intimate environment it is renowned for.
