Terra Blues Celebrates 22nd Anniversary with Live Music

As New York's last standing blues club, Terra Blues has been home to many established and well known performers. This month, as a celebration of the legacy that the club has created over the years, the signature blues club will be hosting its 22nd Anniversary celebration on Thursday, July 26th at 7 p.m.

Artists from past and present Terra Blues line-ups showcase their talents in celebration of thier 22nd anniversary. This event will also be hosted by blues legends and regular performers, Clarence Spady and Michael Powers. They will be joined throughout the night by other Terra Blues regulars, playing some of the best live music in NYC. 

CLARENCE SPADY: discovered his love for music at an early age. After his family moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania in 1966, he traveled to New Jersey every weekend to play with his Uncle Fletchy's R&B band. His first stage performance was at age 5, where he played at the local Elks Club. Startling those around him with his talent, Spady has been gracing stages worldwide ever since. His musical performance offers great depth and sensitivity that simply cannot be taught. He also combines blues, jazz, funk and rock into his own unique sound effortlessly, making him one of today's greatest performers of live music in NYC.  MICHAEL POWERS: A NJ native, Michael Powers no defines the New York City blues scene, Since settling in NYC in the 1970's, Power's originals and "re-shaped classics" have been dictating the raw essence of real blues in the city for years. Michael Powers is a rare find in th emusic world, with "impressive musical range and versatility - a musician for all seasons."
