Top 3 Outdoor Weekend Activities for Children

Now that spring is officially here it is time to plan some fun outdoor activities with your little ones. As we all know the best time for family bonding is on the weekends so here is what made our top three wonderful weekend activities for the entire family:

1. Go to the Bronx Zoo for Animal Tales Extravaganza! This year the Bronx Zoo is hosting a very special program weekends from April 21 to June 17 called Animal Tales Extravaganza. Families can purchase tickets online or at the zoo and plan for a fun-filled day that will include seeing a plethora of amazing animals, meeting Nick Jr's most beloved characters and learning yoga poses on Astor Court with Lil Yogi's NYC. 2. Try Yoga in Central Park: Beginning Saturday, April 7, Lil Yogi's NYC will be holding children's yoga classes on Saturday mornings at 11 a.m. in Central Park. The classes are intended for the whole family as they are open level and range from ages 1 to 8 years old. Children will be sure to get their downward dog on on the beautiful lawn of Central Park between Sheeps Meadow and the Tots Playground. 3. Head to the Ballpark for a Baseball Game: Does your little one take baseball classes or play baseball in school or at home? Well, maybe it is time for them to attend their very first Yankees game! Children 3 years and under or less than 30 inches tall do not need a ticket and can watch one of America's greatest teams in action. Just head to the Bronx and spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon eating peanuts and Cracker Jacks, playing fun baseball games and watching the Yankees play ball in Concourse Villiage!
